ThreadPresence stores your Threads connection in a browser session cookie only. There is no separate user profile database in v1. Use the steps below to remove app access and session data. Meta App Review can use this URL as the Data Deletion Instructions / callback status page.
Delete your session in the app (fastest)
- Open https://thread-presence.vercel.app.
- If you are signed in, click Sign out. That clears the HTTP-only
tp_sessioncookie (access token, Threads user id, username). - Optionally clear site data for this origin in your browser settings.
Revoke ThreadPresence in Meta / Threads
- Open your Threads or Meta account settings and find connected apps / business integrations.
- Remove or revoke access for the ThreadPresence / LnTech Meta app.
- After revoke, any leftover cookie cannot call Threads APIs successfully; sign out in-app as well for a clean desk.
What is deleted
- Session cookie containing your Threads token and profile ids
- Ephemeral search results in the UI (never persisted server-side in v1)
Replies you already published remain on Threads as content you created with your brand account; delete those in the Threads app if needed.
Meta data-deletion callback
If Meta sends a signed data-deletion request to this app, the callback endpoint is:
https://thread-presence.vercel.app/api/auth/data-deletion
Because v1 has no durable user store, the callback acknowledges the request, returns a confirmation code, and points status checks back to this page. Agents can still clear their own session with Sign out.
Request help
If you cannot sign out or need confirmation that no server-side record remains, contact the app operator (LnTech) with your Threads username and approximate connect date. We will confirm deletion of any session we can identify and guide you to revoke the app in Meta settings.
